I can get the basic about Integration Broker but there are still more examples needed. I also found good tips on www.itwisesolutions.com/PsftTraining.html website. As from PSFT 9, IB is coming as powerful tool so expertise needed in this.

thanks - Larry

Messages stuck in New

Sounds like your messages went to Done status, very different from a "New" status. Most of the time fixing the stuck New messages is just a matter of activating the domain.

I'd like to have a cool way to resubmit Done messages myself. I'll bet it's just a matter of some tricky SQL Updates. Or it seems like one could write a PeopleCode function to read the Done messages and resubmit them. Anyway if anybody has done this I'd love to hear from them. If I ever get it working I'll let you know! - Brent Martin

I'd sure like to know how you "I can get messages that are stuck in a "New" status working again". We just went live and one trouble we have is that the gateway properties got lost at some point. so we have some transactions that think they worked, but they didn't and since they are Done we can't resubmit them. very irritating. - Jim

Brent,

Your explanations are superb! The email system analogy really helped. I've been struggling with this for months, but I feel much better equiped to tackle this now.

Thank you for time and dedication.

Uhder Nodes, you wrote "In 8.48 and above, you’d define them on the “Relationships” tab." It should be "Routings", not “Relationships”. - Nikki

I'll put together some integration broker "step by step" posts when I get some time. Until then, check Customer Connection (assuming your employer pays for support) -- they have red papers and some cases that show step-by-step how to do it for specific messages. - Brent Martin
