Then what about the number of threads in the weblogic (config.xml) ? I have 100 currently. Shouldn't that be ok?

100 threads should be more than enough for your load. I think you could cut that in half and still have plenty, and you might consider cutting back to reduce CPU load on your box during busy times. But your app server is where you should be directing your attention at the moment.

Can you guys please tell me in detail how to increase the number of PSAPPSRV processes.I am a newbie to PS so please dont mind.We are using peopletools 845 and sql server 2000.Sometimes users complain of slowness.Please educate me!
