I just wanted to point out a few new features on PeopleSoft Corner for 2008: First, the Job Opportunities section is open for anybody. If you’re looking for a job or you have a position you want to fill, just use the contact us link and tell me about it. I’ll be sure to get it posted. Next, I’ve added a Resources section on the menu. This is where I’m keeping code and utilities that I want to share. Right now I have my “PeopleSoft SQL Toolkit” on-line there, which is just my collection of SQL scripts for PeopleSoft. I find the security scripts especially valuable. I also have my favorite bookmarklets available there. With them you can have something bookmarked once and have it work in any PeopleSoft environment. You can also go from a page in one PeopleSoft environment to the same page in another environment (it’ll even pull up the same data) without having to sign on again. Have fun with anything in the resources section, but make sure you read the “ERP Associates Beta Test License Agreement” that they’re all licensed under. I’ve installed Community Builder functionality, so registered users can review other user’s profiles and contact them if they like. I’ve considered starting a PeopleSoft discussion board but I’m not sure it’s needed with IT Toolbox and Yahoo’s boards. Let me know what you think. Finally, I got the code working so that you can finally see basic blog functionality like categories, a “Latest Articles” index, and a recently updated Blog Role. Make sure you click on the PeopleSoft Corner Blog menu item to see it all. Happy 2008! |
