Problems posting comments? Print

Just a bit of housekeeping here. A couple of weeks ago I implemented a hack for b2evolution to make users enter a security code when posting comments. I was hoping this would get rid of the tons of comment spam I was receiving. I've recently heard that users occasionally get "Error: You have not entered the correct authorization code".

The only workaround I know of is to exit the comment and re-enter it. I'll try to work on it this weekend, but in the mean time if you have problems just send the comment to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and I'll manually add it. Be sure to let me know what name and e-mail address you would like me to file it under.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

So long friends! Print
Thursday, 02 March 2006
My current client was acquired last year and since PeopleSoft will no longer be used as a system of record, today is the last day for many of my friends and colleagues. I just wanted to take a minute to say goodbye to the many people I've worked with off and on since 1999.

Patti - Thanks for going to bat to bring me on again as an independent consultant. I truly appreciate it.

David, Mahboob, BJ, Cindy, Cynthia, Donna -- Thanks for everything - the long weekends, extra effort, and moral support. You guys knew the system like no one else.

Judi, Doug, Julee, Chris, Helen, Lou, Eric, Kelly -- Nicely done. What you guys did to make the system work with almost no customizations was phenomenal.

David, Jason, Terry, James, Michael, Jesse -- I really didn't mean all those bad things I said about infrastructure. You guys came through again and again.

All of you exhibited great professionalism in assiting the effort to migrate the data out of PeopleSoft and into Oracle. I learned a lot from you guys.

Best wishes in your new endeavors, and please keep in touch. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to call.

-Brent

Thanks for visiting my web site. My mission is to make ERP implementations and upgrades as easy as the sales people say they’ll be, and ultimately to drive business value at every level in the organization through the use of your ERP system.

Since my experience has primarily been with PeopleSoft Enterprise to date, you'll find more information regarding PeopleSoft Enterprise than with other ERP applications. As time goes on and Project Fusion draws closer, you'll find more cross-platform information.

It's my hope that you'll find resources here that will make your next ERP project a success. If you have any questions, please give me a call or drop me an e-mail.

Thanks,
Brent Martin
