I was just made aware of this ERP video series from K3 Syspro about an ERP selection process at a mid-market manufacturer. If you’ve already fallen asleep you should wake up and click the link below, it’s quite funny. The video is a lot like “The Office”, and it follows incompetent manager David’s quest for the perfect ERP system.
Somehow I get the feeling David’s company is going to ultimately select SYSPRO software since K3 Syspro is the company who’s doing the video, but don’t let that turn you off. The videos contain a lot of good information about what ERP systems do and how (not) to select them. The series has been used by universities around the world and has become popular with some industry insiders.
