Whatever Happend to Advisor Webcasts? Print
Tuesday, 25 July 2006
Just wanted to remind you that Oracle is continuing PeopleSoft's Advisor Webcasts tradition.

This beneficial program delivers expert knowledge and information about services, products, and technologies straight to your desktop through our new web conferencing tool, Oracle Web Conferencing.

I've found the Advisor Webcasts as useful as PeopleSoft sessions at the conference, and a whole lot more affordable!

You can view the Advisor Webcasts schedule on Customer Connection if you'd like to attend a live session (great if you need to ask questions), or you can access the Advisor Webcasts archives on Oracle's web conferencing site.

You are right, they are there. The volume however, is severely reduced from the pre-merger days. Most of the webcasts offered are JDE/PeopleSoft World/Enterprise One etc. 'Back in the day' there used to be a new technical webcast most weeks. I don't think there has been a tools one of any note in the last year ...

kind regards

That is too bad - especially since there is movement on the PeopleSoft development front and a lot isn't getting communicated. I'll admit I haven't watched an Advisor Webcast since the acquisition (I was reminded of it today hence the blog post), so your point is well taken.

It seems that good PeopleSoft Enterprise content is getting hard to find. Even at the last Oracle Open World conference there weren't nearly as many good PeopleSoft Enterprise sessions as there have been in years past.
