If you're considering applying Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 2, you might want to hold off for a few weeks.  It'll break nVision.

Specifically, it keeps nVision processes from terminating.  This means if your process scheduler is configured to allow three concurrent nVision processes, the first three may run to success but they'll never terminate (you'll be able to see three psnvs.exe processes in task manager) and they won't free up your nVision slots.  As a result, future nVision processes will remain stuck in queued.

PeopleSoft does have a POC fix for it (POC-729090), and the 8.48.14 patch which will address the issue is scheduled to be released on October 15.  I assume the 8.49 patch will be released about the same time.  If you're running a Tools release older than 8.48  you might want to contact Oracle support and find out what their plans are to fix the issue in your release.
